It’s that time of year again! Halloween is a great opportunity for the members of GlobalGFX to express themselves creatively outside of the computer. Some of us are tricky, but others are surely treats! Happy Halloween!

Once upon a time, Toronto’s graphics department worked exclusively with Winnipeg. During that time, our team established a unique relationship with Senior Producer Brian Wood. Working together on a daily basis via telephone and emails, we were able to produce and design visuals for the Winnipeg broadcasts. Finally, we had the pleasure of meeting Brian this last week as he spent some time here at Global Toronto to help produce Decision 2014: Winnipeg Votes.

Brian finally got the chance to finally meet what is now known as the GlobalGFX department.

To Brian: It’s wonderful to finally put a face to a familiar voice! We’ve enjoyed working with you and we’re looking forward to working with you even more!

For the new season of The West Block, GlobalGFX has teamed up with the folks in Ottawa to bring you, our faithful viewers, some insightful and beautiful animations. Christmas came early—we received a package in the mail, and we were gifted with many portable chargers for mobile devices.
